Nokia N9 - Native Twitter App Review

In this post, I’m going to review the native Twitter app of N9. Watch the video to get a feel of how things work.

 

Summary of Likes and Dislikes

Likes

·         Easy to use, like every other Twitter app on other platforms

·         The basic function present works well (i.e., search and basic twitting)

·         Smooth user interface performance

Dislikes

·         Lack of features like photo sharing, no where in the whole of Meego OS can I share photos to Twitter.

·         Doesn’t show notifications that you favorite a tweet (see video at time 3:12)

Final Words

The Nokia N9’s native twitter app bring nothing new to the table at all, almost looking and works like any other twitter apps of other mobile platforms. Some major functions are missing like the photo sharing, but still, the basic just works. Truth be told, a lot of polishing still needs to be done.
